Piraguas

Piraguas are a shaved ice treat similar to a snowcone sold from carts in Puerto Rico. According to wikipedia they are also sold in some places in the states, I've never seen them though.

My favorite flavor is frambuesa (raspberry). It's also the only flavor I've ever had. I've simply never felt the need.

The most popular flavors are (in no order):
  • frambuesa
  • coco
  • límon (lemon)
  • tamarindo (tamarind)
  • piña colada
  • fresa (strawberry)

    • You CAN make your own piraguas, but that kind of feels like sacrilige to me.
